Girish Sahasrabuddhe

Girish Sahasrabuddhe has been working as a freelance artist for the past 20 years. He has a particular passion for creating work for children.

For a decade, he has consistently contributed illustrations and design work to Gyanprabodhini, the newspapers Daily Sakal and Daily Pudhari, as well as the weekly Sadhana and its special children’s editions. To date, he has designed approximately 500 book covers for various publishing houses. In 2019, he was honored by the ‘Marathi Sahitya Parishad, Pune,’ in recognition of his exceptional contribution to Marathi publishing through his work on book covers. His book, ‘Marathi ani English Aksharlekhan ani Aksharrekhan’ (Marathi and English Calligraphy and Lettering), has been published.
