Annette Pehnt

Annette Pehnt was born in 1967 in cologne. She studied and worked in Ireland, Scotland, Australia and the USA. Today she lives with her family in Freiburg.

She published her first novel in 2001. She has received numerous awards, et al 2012 the Hermann Hesse Literature Prize.

Her children’s book ‘Rabea and Marili’ was awarded ‘The best 7’, and the children’s book award of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
